It is extremely important for you to understand your obligations under any contracts that you are entering into in the course of your business. A modest effort in terms of time and money up front can avoid nasty surprises in the future and the potential to inadvertently accept terms which could have consequences you had not anticipated.
It is also important to understand your rights of termination should the contract not be working for you or, conversely, your valuable clients’ ability to move on and leave a gap in your business.
